We are looking at purchasing an imported 2010 Hyundai i30 for our 17 yo daughter. As an import, there is no safety rating. Can I be satisfied this vehicle has enough airbags, etc to
protect her? Where can I find this sort of information.
Thanks.

Hi there,
Hyundai have essentially banned most imports into NZ unless they are Australian or European Spec- which would have either NCAP or ANCAP safety ratings at the time of manufacture- either of which are no longer current due to the vehicle being 11 years old. For used car safety you would check this site: https://rightcar.govt.nz/vehicle-search-results?q=1|14||2|3100||&d=Hyundai%20I30
Rightcar currently give the i30 3 stars.
