I'm thinking of buying a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2.7 litre diesel, & would be grateful for your advice on body roll/road holding-is it a problem with these? It has about 230,000 km on clock-should I have any concern here? Any other issues that I should be aware of? I'm a sedate driver, don't corner hard or travel faster than 95 on straight open road.
Thank you. Ian Stuart

The 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee suffered from a soft and floaty ride, this added to the evident body roll that can be felt on the vehicle. At 230,000km, you should be prepared for some major repairs in the near future. We have heard of an automatic transmission failure at 150,000km on this model. You should consider buying a vehicle with a lot less mileage, it might pay off in the long run.
