Hi. I am wondering whether to buy a 3.0 litre or 2.5. Are the 3 litre cars ok? Are they reliable? I have heard good things about the 2.5 litre engines.

Both of these engines have a reputation for being a bit on the thirsty side, and some overheating problems were not unheard of. If you are considering one of these, go for the lowest mileage with the most complete service history, whether it's a 2.5 or 3.0 litre.
