Another question on the Mazda Demio please. We have seen a sport model which is a 1500cc Paddle shift tiptronic automatic. Not sure we would ever need to use the paddle shift, but just wondering if any problems with these & whether better to have a standard auto? Many thanks.

The paddle shifters allow you to shift gears manually if you so wish. This is a feature called tiptronic.
The only thing to be mindful of eith imported Demio models is that many of them have a CVT transmission. We prefer the conventional 4 speed auto. The paddles are not important.
