Hello again,
I am now looking at the Mazda Demio. I like the back how it maximises space and how a roof rack will fit well on the roof. Also that the back seats lie flat for packing items in the boot.
The new cars are a different shape altogether.
Is it better to go for a later model e.g. 2007 with mileage of about 70,000km or an older car of 2005 or 6 with a mileage of about 55,000km?
Also, is a car of 1300cc much less powerful than one with 1440 or 1500cc?
If I am taking canoes (a short distance) or bikes (also a short distance) would a 1300cc car be advisable.?
Thank you.

Neither of these cars is particularly high mileage, but if they are exactly the same model, I'd prefer the lower mileage car.
If you are likely to be lugging loads around and there's a possibility of doing any open road driving, the 1.5 litre would be better.
