I'm looking to buy an SUV or similar, that I can take on dirt roads/ forestry tracks so has to have better than car clearance, be a brisk on-road performer, petrol, 2or 4wd for between $20-25k. Could look at a 2wd , twin cab ute, also Any suggestions? Thanks, Neil

The Toyota RAV4 and Honda CRV around the 2008 year range and with low mileage are vehicles to consider in this price range. They are soft off road vehicles but the AWD versions can manage the usual dirt roads and forestry tracks.
