We want to buy a 4x4 with 7+ seats so were thinking of a Toyota prado/land raiser and had seen a couple on your site which were circa 150,000k and around 15-16k, is this a good price? They are 16 or 17 years old, is this an issue when they get this old? Should we be looking at other 4x4s which are more durable or better value for money. Don't really want to pay more than 20k. Thanks

The Toyota Prado retains its value better than most due to its fantastic reputation for reliability, and therefore popularity. I'd have no hesitation in recommending a Prado, and if you can find one with around 150,000km for the sort or price you're talking, it would be a fairly good buy. Most in this price range have done double those kms.
Having said that, I'm talking about the 3.0 litre diesel. The V6 petrol is not at all popular because of its high fuel consumption!
