Hi there,

I'm currently looking at Honda Odysseys on Trade Me younger than 2004 and was wondering what the difference between the basic model and the M model is.

There are lots of different models, the "M" being just one of them. However, I'd be cautious about buying some of them (the "M" included) as they have a CVT transmission which was known to give trouble.
A couple of models ("S" and "Absolute") have a conventional 5 speed automatic, which I would have a preference for.
Otherwise, the various models only vary in specification level.
