Hi. Unfortunately the Honda Civic we discussed earlier was sold. My son is now looking at a NZ new Suzuki GLX (4wd 1995cc), one owner, 66,000km, $10k. Is there anything in particular we should be concerned with with this car? A good option for a learner driver? Many thanks.

Judging from your mention of 1995cc 4wd, I presume you mean it's an SX4? If so, this is a very good model with a good reliability record. I'm not sure of your location, so don't know if he really needs 4WD, but if there is a requirement for this, it would be a good choice.
As a first car and if he doesn't have a particular requirement for 4WD or AWD, probably a Suzuki Swift would be fine.
