Hello,

Just wondering what is the difference between the Allex and Runx if any.

Is there any significant difference between the 1.5 and 1.8L in power and reliability?

Could you also let me know what type of auto transmission they have?

These two are both basically the same, and are Japanese market versions of the Corolla.
The 1.5 and 1.8 are both good from a reliability perspective, but power is definitely better with the 1.8.
Being Japanese domestic market models, some of these (some 1.5s in particular) may have CVT transmissions. Our preference is for the traditional four speed automatic, as fitted to NZ new Corollas.
