Hi,

Which would be better recommended on aspects of fuel, tranmission, reliability, maintenance cost, driving characteristics. Models in consideration are 2005/6 onwards.
& Any factors to be taken note of for these.

OK, so it sounds as if you've now narrowed down your search from your previous posts. All things considered, the Civic would have the better resale value and has a good reputation for reliability. The Lancer is probably equally good from a running cost/reliability perspecive, but the Civic is probably the better driver's car.
