Hi,

I'm in the market for a new wagon, and have had my eye on the second generation Atenzas. Would just like to know the difference between the 23s and the 23z and is the 23z worth the extra $$$?

Have asked a few car dealers and they all give different answers, would just like some clarification.

Cheers.

The difference is specification level, with the Z having part leather etc as standard equipment.
If a higher level of equipment is important to you, then the Z is worth paying extra for, but from a reliability point of view, there will be no difference, so in that respect it's best to find the car that's in the best condition with the lowest mileage.

Thanks for the reply. What are the other differences? Are they purely superficial or is there changes in the performance too? Suspension, engine etc.

As these are Japanese domestic market models and not sold new in New Zealand, I don't have a full list of specification, but the running gear (engine etc) will be the same. Possibly there could be some very slight differences in suspension set-up due to different wheels etc, but nothing dramatic - if at all.
