I am currently looking for a new car. I would like it to be a 4wd non turbo station wagon in the price range of below $7000. This car will be used as a daily runner as well as something to take up the mountain during the winter. I'll list the options I am currently considering. As I know next to nothing about cars, I would like advice on best pick for reliability would be.
Current Options I am looking at:
- Subaru (Legacy, Outback, Lancaster)
- Nissan (Wingroad, Primera P12)
- Toyota (Caldina)

Hi there,
The Subaru and Caldina are both great options.
The subaru 2.0ltrs are a great engine, The 2.5 will have more power but use a lot more gas.
I would not really recommend the Nissans, for what you need.
I would find a car and the lowest km's possible.
I used to work and own Subaru cars so i have no problem recommending them, 2.0 ltrs more so. And make sure you get the car checked out before you by it, to make sure the cooling system is in good condition.
