Hi, I am planning to buy a used car which has got the AA appraisal. Can I rely on this AA appraisal for the safety aspects and the condition of the car? Would there be an additional advantage if I get an independent evaluation done by a AA inspector?

An AA Apraisal is a dealer only inspection. And covers only a small portion of the car, to satisfy the dealer. It is not enough to buy a car on.
We recommend a pre purchase inspection, as this gives a more comprehensive view of the vehicle condition.
