does the Japanese equivalent of the AA carry out presale car inspections and if so can I purchase the service.

I have no knowledge of any AA in Japan that would be able to carryout an inspection for you sorry.

I know there is no AA in Japan but there is the Japan auto club . are they affiliated to the world wide auto organization that includes UK Germany most of Europe , maybe USA, Aust and even good old NZ.
