I recently asked my local Suzuki dealer about ORCs on new basic model Suzuki. I was quoted Registration plus $700 to link up the car's computer system. That seems a bit like having to pay extra for the wheels. I finally purchased the GLX model with a few hundred kms on clock and no ORCs for little more than cost of basic model. Are those extras ususual? Eileen

Hi Eileen,
It is normal to pay on road costs, that can be fairly high in some cases. These can be made up of the minimum registration and number plate costs, but can also include valet and any other costs. It does vary from dealer to dealer. But $700 to link up the computer system sounds a bit excessive.
