Hi we are looking at Subaru outbacks to purchase around 2002-2008. Everyone talks about the cambelt and it needs doing every so often. Is this specific to any models cc ratings?

A Subaru cambelt is due for replacement at 100,000kms or around 10 years.
Sometimes there may not be evidence of replacement, and an inspection may be required.
If any doubt, it is better to get it replaced.
