Hi, I am contemplating purchasing above TSI 90kw model DSG7 (2012) and would appreciate advice on any known issues to date (I have noted a number of web posts on UK/US sites being less than complementary, however assume these are a drop in the bucket compared to numbers sold). Also, I believe problems with earlier DSG transmissions have been largely ironed out in this vintage, can you concur please.

I think these cars are a great choice, I do think the earlier issues have been addressed.
I recommend an inspection before purchase, and maybe talk to a Eurpean service agent, to confirm any items to look out for.
