Am interested in buying this vehicle. Have booked an AA Inspection. But have noticed a lot of rust under the step below the molded skirt. Is this vehicle prone to rust and is it structural. Am I wasting my money getting an inspection?

I'm not aware of common rust issues, however the vehicle is now almost 20 years old and may have been subject to salt or mud. I recommend taking the vehicle to a panel beater to specifically look at the rust, if it concerns you.
