Hi,

I was looking into a Toyota Wish 2009 that is fitted with a Valvematic engine 1.8L. The person could not tell me if it comes with a CVT transmission. Would you know anything about it?

Are you also aware about any known issues with Valvematic engines?

Hi There,
It looks like they can come with a 4-speed standard A/T or a 7-speed CVT. So you may not know till you drive it, which one it has in it.
I've looked up the vehicle line-up that use the Valvematic engines and they seem to be in pretty reliable cars. I haven't heard any complaints about these engines yet.
