Hi. I am buying a car that has a personalized plate. The owner wants to swap that plate with the one on their other car and keep it. Ie they keep the personalized plate. What needs to happen? And can this be done on line? Thanks

The current owner will need to take the vehicle and plates to a licensing agent, purchase and fit the new plates. Then put the personalised plates onto the other vehicle and surrender the old plates. The vehicles must go to the centres and new plates will need to be purchased not just swapped over.
