I am looking at buying a new-shape automatic Kia Rio about 2012ish - are they good cars? If it helps I know Hyundai is owned by Kia and I drove a 2011 i30 automatic as a rental once and found it hard to control at low speed (by that I mean you barely press the accelerator pedal and it rockets up to speed very quickly which can be a pain in carparks. I really love the look of the Rio but if this car has the same issue as the i30 I would be completely put off it.
