One owner from new.
Sold and serviced by Mitsubishi Dealer from new.
Advised Engine received extensive work ($8000) as result of blown head. at approx 180,000
Purchased by us October 2015 from above dealer at 190,000 on basis it was a fairly new car with completely reconditioned head etc to cost of $8000.
This latter was our decision to purchase.
Car used to travel to work (nurse Lower Hutt Hosp from Mangaroa (Upper Hutt). Otherwise domestic running Kids to school etc.
Today, investigating heater failure, advised by local mechanic that head gasket has failed causing loss of cooling water.
Car traveled approx 13.000 k since purchased.
We have not yet spoken with the dealer but would very much like to know where we stand re remedial work at Dealers cost.
As car required for work and we live rural would appreciate a quick advise. Thank you
