Hi there

I'm looking at buying a 2013 Peugeot 5008 which has done 48,000kms. It's been imported from Singapore as an undamaged vehicle by a dealer. It's in really good condition except one of the rear fold-away seats didn't fold, and the trim around the boot looked like it was newer than the trim around the doors. This made me wonder if it could have been repaired after an accident, although it would be a little odd not to fix the seat but fix everything else.
I've seen the AA compliance check sheet which says its in above average condition for it's age and kms, and hasn't highlighted any issues. The dealer says he will put in writing that it is undamaged. Do I need to get a pre-purchase inspection?

Hi there, it is always a good idea to get a pre purchase inspection as the inspectors a very good at checking for repaired damage and paint defects ect.
It would seem very rare that seat operation would be affected by an accident, it would more likely be from something getting stuck in it or an operation fault.
