We have a 2005 Ford Courier 2 litre diesel utility that an employee would like to use whilst working for another contractor. Please advise what kilometre rate we would charge our employee. Thanks David

This is entirely between you and your employee to negotiate. The AA rate for a 2.0 litre diesel ute would be 81.6c per km, however this is calculated on a 3 year old vehicle where depreciation is a major cost. On an 8 year old vehicle such as yours, it has already depreciated significantly, so the true running cost may only be around half that figure.
