Hi,

I have three cars and would like to know the recommended fuel types for each of these:

1. Toyota Runx 1.5 2005
2. Toyota Wish 1.8 2004
3. Subaru Legacy B-Sport 2.0 2006

Also what will happen to the engine if a higher octane fuel is used instead of the recommended type? Will it be harmful or ok?

Thanks!

According to data available to us, each of these cars can run on 91. With Subaru models, anything turbocharged should have a higher octane fuel.
There will be no detriment at all by running a car on a higher grade than the minimum recommendation. The car will actually go a little further on the higher octane and arguably, run a little better. Generally speaking, there is little or no advantage in using a higher grade than recommended because although you go a little further on a tankful, the fuel is more expensive so any advantage is negated by the added cost per litre.
