Hi. I'm looking at buying a Mazda atenza 2007 23s station wagon. The dealer says it should be run on 95 or 98 petrol. Will it be fine to run on 91 fuel?

Hi there,
Japanese vehicle specs are hard to find, but the NZ new Mazda 6 of that year lists as running on 95 octane. If you use 91 you might find the vehicle under powered as it tries to back the timing off to prevent 'pinking' due to lower fuel octane, so it's not recommended.
