Hi there,
Am I correct in assuming that the Mazda Premacy 2002 (1.8, FP engine) can run safely on the 91 octane fuel? Also, would it be a problem if the previous owner used 95 and I go back to 91? They advised me to use 95 as they were unsure but I checked and believe 91 to be the recommended...
Thanks a lot for your help.

From the information I have the 2002 Mazda Premacy 1.8L can run on regular 91 Octane fuel. It doesn't matter that the previous owner used 95 Octane and you can change over at any time. You might find the 95 Octane has a slight improvement in performance compared to the 91 Octane fuel but most drivers won't even notice this and why pay for premium 95 if it's not necessary.
