I recently purchased the above model and on arriving home noticed that 2 of the tires are runflat tires fitted to non runflat rims.
Is this acceptable or safe for this model?

There is nothing in the WoF inspection manual to indicate that this is not legal, and in reality it's probably not unsafe. However, in the event of a puncture, the runflat tyre will not perform as it's designed to do, and will behave in a similar way to a conventional tyre, as there's nothing keeping it located correctly within the rim (as it would be on a runflat rim). Therefore, due to the higher cost of runflat tyres it seems odd that someone would have fitted these tyres to conventional rims when there's no advantage and conventional tyres would be cheaper.
