I am on Parnell road and Ive opened my door to enter my vehicle and placed my body between the car and the inside of the door so I can allow myself to monitor oncoming traffic and select a safe break in traffic to enter.

An oncoming bus has deviated slightly as it passes me and clips the edge of my door causing the edge to fold open (dog ear) like a tin can but not enough force to rip the door from my hands. Fortunately my hands were up around the window frame.

So, no physical harm done, except for some panel/paint work or perhaps a new door.

Based on the information provided who is at fault in this situation?

It is a bit of a complicated situation thankfully you were not injured.
It would be best to contact your insurer with all information you have available. In general if your vehicle is stationary and is struck by another vehicle it is likely that you are not at fault.
