Hi there,
On the 07 of February 2017 we purchased a car from a car dealership in Palmerston North. The next morning (08 of February) we noticed that the battery warning light would flash randomly. We had the vehicle check and a fault has been found with the vehicles alternator. The dealership asked us to get a quote estimating the repair costs. This was given to them on the 08 of February.
I would like to know who is responsible for fixing the vehicle in this situation. Is it the car dealership or are we going to have to repair this fault at our own cost?
Thank you.
Jacob

Hi there,
The dealer will be responsible to get the vehicle repaired at no cost to you, simply because it faulted so soon after purchase.
