Is it illegal to have the same load rating but different speed rating tires on the same axis? ie I have tires rated 88T and 88H.
Thanks Norm

Hi Norm,
A tyre could fail if: A tyre has a speed category that is less than the speed limit for the vehicle or less than the vehicle’s maximum speed if this is less than the speed limit.
However both those ratings are 190km and 210km speed rated, which is way more than any NZ speed limit, so it shouldn't fail a wof. There is no ruling on miss-matched speed ratings, only load rating not differing by 2.
