I need to get 4 new tyres for my 2008 corolla hatchback. I've done the rounds and have narrowed it down to either Michelin XM2, Bridgestone PZx or Goodyear Assurance Triple max. It's hard to get a clear and unbiased review online or from dealers. All say they last, all dealers seem to have a reason not to buy the other brand. Is there actually much of a difference between these 3 brands/tyres? I have deals where they are approximately the same price. I do around the town driving with the occasional driving holiday. Would you recommend these, or is there a better option for me to consider. At this stage I'm leaning towards the Michelin's as the deal is slightly better. The deal says I may get unto 70,000km from them, is that accurate? Any advice appreciated.

Hi there,
70k on a set of tyres seems very good, with an average set driven daily would get maybe 35-40k from what I've seen.
All three are very good brands and each tyre would be very similar and maybe hard to pick a winner.
The only site I have found with actual tyre tests is the Consumer but you have to subscribe so I can no longer see the tests.https://www.consumer.org.nz/products/car-tyres/overview
