We recently bought a Mercedes Sprinter CDI 2013 Motorhome and drove it five hours home. All good. Next trip it displayed an engine warning light and lost power. The light went away, then returned the next day. As we are under warranty we took it to be checked out and all was fine. The check showed numerous historical warning lights and they were cleared. The same day, on our next journey, we got an oil light. Oil level was fine.
We live one hour from the service centre and can’t be driving there all the time, yet our warranty says we have to make a report and get the light checked out ...EVERY TiME. What do you think? Should we take notice of these lights since we had a mechanical check when we bought the vehicle and the subsequent check by the service centre?

Hi there,
Unfortunately warning lights are best not to be ignored and they are seldom nothing, the faults need to be diagnosed and found, simply clearing them is not adequate. Best to get it seen to while under any warranty.
