I noticed that the Smart Entry system warning light comes on when I start the car and stay on throughout. It did not affect the performance and access in and out of the car. It is just annoying! Sometimes it disappeared. I wonder how to get rid of this warning light as it seems the car is running normally.

Hi, it may well be something as simple as the key FOB battery getting low, there are various instructional videos on YouTube if you want to attempt a DIY battery replacement.

If not you may need to call into a Honda Dealer to scan the security system for faults, there is a good one called Torque Performance in Avondale Auckland if you happen to be in the Auckland area.
