On Sunday, I called out the AA to start my car as I had a flat battery. The Roadside technician, Greg - job no A20210700 came and jump-started my car then tested my battery and said I had a dead cell and needed to take it back to the battery dealer.

I took it back to Super smart Batteries where I had purchased it from and they tested it and said there was nothing wrong, it just needed charging and that I either needed to take my car for a long drive or trickle charge. I do not have a trickle charger so I took my car for a long drive for approximately 90 minutes and went back and the guy still insisted there was nothing wrong!

Hi that sounds strange, I would take it to another workshop for an independent assessment, if they also confirm the battery is faulty and it is under warranty then the shop should replace it.
