I have a clutch fluid leak in my Toyota Starlet ... I think it might be the slave cylinder.

What is involved in changing/replacing the slave cylinder? Is it expensive? What parts do I need to purchase?

Firstly, you need to identify whether or not it is actually the slave cylinder that is leaking. The slave cylinder is mounted by the bell housing, so if you can see fluid leaking from there, then that's your problem. Depending on the condition of the internal bore in the slave cylinder, you may be able to effect a low cost repair by replacing the seals only. If the bore is scored or pitted, you may need to replace the cylinder. A brake and clutch service outlet will be able to supply parts you need.
