i have a Subaru Grandwagon and often hear a sloshing sound,as in water moving about when i go around a corner, mainly at low speed...is this related to the air conditioning?

Suggest you have a feel around that area checking for wet carpets in case you have water holding in the front plenum chamber which could eventually work its way into the vehicle interior.

There should be a drain to allow this water to pass through the chamber and exit under the car.

Often debris from trees etc can cause the drain to get blocked and water to be trapped in this area.

If it's an early to mid 90's Subaru, then apparently it's quite common. My old '94 Subaru Legacy did the same thing & I was told it was air pockets in the cooling system.

Yes good call, you have shaken my memory banks.

We have also heard of similiar noises after work has been done on the cooling systems on Subaru's.

The end result has been in some cases an overheating problem due to the airlock.

Thanks for the email.
