I own a 95 Ford Fairlane 5.0 V8 which has a air conditioning fault ever since I've owned the car. The problem is the car constantly blows cold air into the driver & passager compartment, even when the car is warm and temperture right up it still blows cold air. Any suggestions.

Its stretching the memory banks a little, but we believe the heater controls on this model are actually vacuum operated solenoids so there will be a number of hoses and connections that could be creating a problem.

The trick is trying to find an old Ford mechanic or Ford enthusiast who knows just how the heater operates and the checks that can be done.

Even a Ford Dealer may struggle with this sort of job to be honest.

Have you tried making contact with a Ford car club and asking them the question?

I took my Fairlane to a air-con repair specialist and all the problems were was a disconnected air line and some points needed resoldering. Now the air cond works as good as new, the buttons work better and the heater blows hot air in the passanger compartment.
