Hello. I have a 2002 BMW Compact. For the last few weeks the steering wheel started shaking when I brake, from speed of say 40 - 50 kmh. It does not shake that much, or at all when braking at slower or higher speeds? What could be causing the problem? Thanks.

It's most likely warped front brake rotors causing the problem. You should have a mechanic take a look at the car, to rule out any other safety problems, and have the steering shake repaired.
