Hi. I have a 2008 Honda Accord Tourer - NZ new, 82000kms. The last 2 days I've heard a loud "spring ping" noise from the front drivers side - presumably suspension. Is this normal, or does it indicate an issue? I bought the car from a dealer mid Oct. I didn't buy a warranty, but assume there's a warranty period in term so of their obligations. Keem to know if I should get this checked out?

If you bought the car as a private buyer then you will be covered by the consumer guarantees act if you bought the vehicle from a dealer (Not an auction or private sale). The CGA covers you for a reasonable amount of time and seeing that you only bought the car mid October 2012 this will be deemed as reasonable. You need to contact the selling dealer and give them the opportunity to sort it out. You need to get the noise checked out as it doesn't sound normal.
