Turning hard to the left or right, sounds like the tyres scuffing although
I don't think this is what is happening Being fulltime 4 wheel drive could it
be Spider gears or such. Only notice this at low speed

Firstly you should ensure all the tyres on the vehicle have the same circumference. Also check whether the centre differential lock is switched off, the switch is located on the dashboard. It is possible that the centre diff lock isn't disengaging when it is switched off which will be causing the noise when turning. Take the vehicle to a mechanic to ensure the system is disengaging properly.
