Hi

I have a Nissan Primera 1995 Auto and will have to get new tyres soon. I am looking at either the Firestone Supercat or TZ700. Tyre info: 195/65/R14

Which one would you recommend and why?

Or would you recommend something else entirely?

The TZ700 is probably the better option. It's a very durable tyre and in our experience has good lasting qualities.

Unfortunately, quality always comes at a cost. Having said that, if Supercats fall within your budget, they're OK too.

Will definitely be getting new tyres; the tyres currently on the car are as follows:

Front: 195/65/R14
Rear: 185/65/R14

So which ones should I get, if I want to replace all four with the same tyre (specs et)?

Also, should I fill them with nitro or just normal air?

Our information would suggest that 185/65/R14 all round is the correct size for this car. I wouldn't bother with nitrogen, just check your pressures once a month instead.
