I had a car inspection recently,and my condition of battery was tested marginal,low state of charge. Should i buy a new one or just recharge it? Thanks

A battery can't be tested properly unless it is fully charged, so if it is in a low state of charge you will need to have it charged first, then re-tested to see if it is servicable, or needs to be replaced.
