stupidly i purchased a 2002 limited edition PT cruiser about 18mths ago and have had soooo many issues with this car but now i have recently been told i need a new head gasket. i have been quoted prices for repairs in the region of $2000-3500 can you please tell me if these are correct? the part apparently is on only around $540. i have seen on here in one section where you said it should cost somewhere around $1100 sometimes slightly more. i think i might be being taken for a ride perhaps?

This vehicle is not the average Japanese car and will cost more to repair. Around the $2000.00 is believable but the $3500.00 seems to be on the high side - having said that you need to look at the quote and see what it includes.
