Hi- left my lights on in my Toyota IST 2004. Battery is now dead. Is it ok to jump start these cars. Its an auto, I have leads and will probably get my neighbors Mazda 2 to jumpstart the car

I just heard from a agarage that some cars cannot be jumpstarted due to damage to the ECU

If you are not experienced with correctly jump starting a car then it's best you leave it to the experts. There is a risk of damaging the electronic components if it's done incorrectly.
