Hey there,

I had an AA Check done today for a car that I possibly will buy. Since I am not a mechanic and don't know a lot about cars, I would be grateful if someone could answer me what the problems mentioned in the report mean. Urgent ones are:
The Seat belt warning lamp stays on
Air conditioning is not working (boost fan not working on low speed)
The ones to keep under observation:
Electrical:
Starter: Operation - Overrun Clutch Noisy
Engine:
Sump: Assembly- Damaged
Transmission: Oil - Dirty

Now, I tried to call my inspector, but can't reach him and I would like to make a decision today, as the car won't be available much longer. Would any of the mentioned things be something really serious and expensive or turn into something serious? I was thinking to just take the car to be serviced, but would quite like to know if repairing the air conditioning or finding the issue with the seatbelt warning lamp are things that normally turn out to be costly.
It is a cheap car, but I wouldn't want to spent half of what I would buy it for (around 2000 NZD) for repairs afterwards.

Thank you!

This seems a risky buy from the information you supplied.
