Hi, we are looking at getting a car for our expected baby, we are looking at getting a Ford Falcon BF2 XR6, looking at its safety rating which is quite good...but can you give me any feedback on faults, reliability, service and repairs etc...
The car is a 2008 model and has about 142,000 kms on the clock.
We are looking for a safe reliable car that will have room for baby and equipment and our large dog.

regards

Are you considering any wagons or are you looking for a sedan only? Please indicate your budget.

The Ford Falcon BF2 XR6 is a good vehicle but it is thirsty too.

In that case you could consider a wagon seeing that you have a dog to cart around. The Mazda Atenza/6 wagon is a good choice with either the 2.0L or 2.3L motor or the Honda Accord wagon - the sedans are good choices too.

An SUV can also work for you. The Mitsubishi Outlander is worth considering.
