how much would I be looking at to get my cambelt replaced on my 2001 holden Vectra.
It depends on which engine is in your car, as there are a few different options in the Vectra. Some of the more complex ones will be in excess of $1000 to do the job properly (including cambelt, water pump, tensioner etc).
The best bet is to ring your mechanic with the exact model (or registration number if you're not sure), and they should be able to give you a closer price.
its the 2.2 litre
My guess is around the $850 mark, but you can call your closest AA Auto Service & Repair outlet for a closer price.
