My Subaru Legacy 2011 is fitted with Yokohama Advan A10 tyres (215/50 R17 91v). These tyres have fared 60,000 km and are due for replacement.

I am hoping to replace these tyres with quieter tyres without compromising safety performance such as cornering, wet and dry grips.

Could you please suggest some replacement options ?

The Yokohama A10 is a good tyre but does have a reputation for being noisy. Our course chip road surface in New Zealand is fairly unforgiving when it comes to road noise, so there is no such thing as a quiet tyre, however, a couple of suggestions which should definitely prove to be a little quieter would be the Bridgestone RE002 or Firestone TZ700.
